  • The Merlot vine was planted in the Orgno vineyards in 1978. Our desire was to verify the potentialities in our territory, traditionally devoted to white wines, of a variety of red grape varieties. The first results we got were excited: Merlot got very good in our area. However, we waited ten years before launching it on the market, so that we could achieve the quality levels we pursued.
